Very good introduction to financial modeling.

I liked the book very much. It focused on the fundamentals of finance at the same time gave a very good introduction to the use of Monte Carlo simulation in this field.

BY FAR THE MOST COMPLETE BOOK ON CORPORATE FINANCIAL MODELS AT THE MBA LEVEL.
THIS BOOK FOCUSES ON DEVELOPING FINANCIAL MODELS THAT ARE THEORETICALLY CONSISTENT, BUT AT THE SAME TIME PRACTICAL.
CHAPTER 10 "Modeling Long Term Assets" AND CHAPTER 11 "Debt Financing" ARE VERY INNOVATIVE, ESPECIALLY IN THE USE OF SIMULATION TO FIND THE OPTIMAL CAPITAL STRUCTURE.

The book explains step by step how to make clear and detailed financial models while reiforcing the concepts covered during a typical MBA Corporate Finance course.
You don't need to be an expert to understand and learn. Learning by doing could describe the book.
